"Very nice Bed & Breakfast in a very nice region. Thanks a lot!" Thomas W., Germany
"My wife and I stayed at the new Felician House Bed & Breakfast in Canton for two nights and liked it very much. The bed and mattress are of excellent quality and the large,
completely quiet ceiling fan kept us so comfortable that we decided not to use the air-conditioner. In the bathroom we appreciated having the choice between a good light over the mirror with
out the fan blowing, or the ceiling light with fan. We also enjoyed the breakfasts."
Gerhard B., Keene, N.H.
"I am a Felician Sister from Chicago. I routinely have a google alert for "felician" and the other day "felician house" came up. I had wondered how a bed and breakfast got the name Felician
House, and your history page explained it well. I do a lot of work with computers and noticed something on your "Where Are We" page that is not quite correct. In the body of the text Felician is
spelled Felecian. It's interesting that felician is interpreted meaning "friendship", that's a good interpretation of it. The Felician Sisters got their name when the first sisters used to take
children to see a shrine to St. Felix of Cantalice, a patron saint of children, and the people gave the name to the sisters the Sisters of St. Felix. Felix also means "joy" and "happy" in Latin. If
you want, I can send you some stories about St. Felix who lived about 450 years ago in Italy."

"Our daughter started university at St Lawrence 4yrs ago and after our first visit we were lucky to discover the Felician House B&B! It has become our home away from home with a separate
entrance, comfy rooms, queen bed,own TV and always fresh treats...cookies and sweets on hand! Heather the hostess always greets us with a smile and is an excellent resource on happenings in the area.
Love the location, 5 minute walk to downtown pubs and restaurants and 30 seconds from Sunday morning mass. Breakfast is always delicious and the common room available nice for visiting with friends
and family when they join us. We will miss it next year but whenever we return to Canton for a visit it will be our FIRST CHOICE for accommodation!" Pat and Donna Roach, Ajax Ontario
Canada
"I have family in Canton, and I found the Felician House a wonderful place to relax and rest when I visit. I really appreciate Heather's friendliness and flexibility with my schedule. It is
wonderful to have a 'self-serve' breakfast when I want it, and to have snacks and beverages available in the evening. The location is ideal, and allows for walks around the village. I will definitely
stay at the Felician House again!"
Jacqueline, Portland, OR
"I LOVE THE FELICIAN HOUSE!!! I didn't want to leave!! Heather does a wonderful job making one feel welcome. I liked that the B and B was set apart from her family quarters. It has a separate
entrance so I did not feel that I was disturbing anyone when I came in after 10:00.
There is a kitchen just for guests to use and Heather has drinks and snacks available all the time. The smell of fresh baked homemade muffins greeted me as I was getting out of bed Saturday morning! Nice!!!
I loved that my bedroom was once a chapel! I felt much peace there. I was traveling alone to a place I had never been before and looked for a place I would feel safe and I did here.
It was quiet at night. Nice linens on my comfy bed. Nice thick towels in my own bath within the room! I was blissfully happy! I will be back next year!" Kim Abell Nicasio
"We were introduced to Felician House in 2009 and have stayed there every year since when visiting our son during the school year! It's warm, friendly and just like being home in your living
room, very cozy! The sitting room is great for meeting and talking with other guests. Heather makes you feel like your at home!" Rick and Yvonne Essery

"What a wonderful Stay! Felt so at home and the bed was very comfortable! Heather is warm and welcoming and made a nice breakfast for us. Had plenty to eat and drink and the kitchen is open
whenever we needed it. How great is that alone. Already booked for Next year! Thanks Heather for a great stay." Denise DeChiaro and Family
"What a great place! While I was alone, a couple would have plenty of room. The bathroom had a good shower and large sink - and the towels were better quality than most hotels. Within walking
distance of the St Lawrence campus and downtown. Heather is a terrific host - I hope to stay here again!" Mike Peters
"I love Felician House!!! Apart from Heather such a gracious landlady and a wonderful, nice person, the rooms are neat and clean and just has what you need - cleans sheets and a good bed and a
good bathroom. Plus the little touches of snacks in the evening when you get hungry after reading a good book or watching TV. And a nice healthy breakfast to set you off for the day! Nothing extra
frill or fancy but just the right amount of everything that you need! I love Felician House!" Rosemarie Alcid
